BMW has become the first car manufacturer to have the unique feature that would allow the users to get an access to web radio stations with the help of an iPhone 3G connection. The feature was unveiled recently by BMW and RadioTime. RadioTime which has been in operation since 2002 is a renowned radio tuner manufacturer.

The web radio service of RadioTime has been integrated into MINI connected option. With the help of a USB interface allows you to integrate your Apple iPhone with the audio system of your car. With this new feature, users would be able to use the RadioTime directory and use the Internet connection of their iPhone to listen to thousands of songs on the radio stations worldwide.

Drivers of the MINI by using MINI Connected can have access to web stations across the world irrespective of their location and all they need to worry about is the network coverage and the internet connection. You can use the audio and infotainment system of the car to choose the desired station.

According to the CEO of RadioTime, Bill Moore, it would be now much easier to tune to web radio by using the MINI Joystick and it will also open the vast world of music, sports, talk, news and entertainment that web radio has to offer. He also added that radio has always been loved by the drivers as it does not require any registration and is absolutely free.

The JVC KD-HDR30 is an amazing in-dash receiver which is available with an in-built HD radio. It is a wonderful mix of affordability and functionality that has been able to set new standards. Keeping up with the traditions of JVC, the tuner is high on quality as well as dependability. JVC KD-HDR30 built-in HD radio tuner has metallic rotary control and easy touch selection pads which is available in both blue and red illumination. The dot matrix display makes it very outdated but the ability of the unit to receive Hybrid Digital audio from FM transmissions overshadows this concern.

The users will also get three additional HD stations and a strong FM frequency. The audio fidelity experienced through the radio transmission is unprecedented. The unit gives incredible surround sound experience when you are listening to symphonies and gives you the chance to immerse yourself when you tune into a rock station. With the help of additional accessories, the unit also has the capability to receive Satellite Radio, Bluetooth, iPod sources and even a CD changer.

The built in HD capability coupled with these options makes Kd-HDR30 a priority in the list of every Media savvy customer. The unit also comes with a 3.5mm auxiliary input on the front panel and potentially will not be outdated technically for a long time. The KD-HDR30 also has MOSFET power and 22 watts RMS per channel. The other noteworthy features of this unit include a 7-band parametric equalizer and a number of expandability options.

For all of us, who have an ear for music, it sometimes gets hard when we have to look for something particular from the heap of the CDs that we have in our collection. Thus, it is always great to have an MP3 player, so that we do not miss out on our favourite music even while we are driving and what can be better than the new Sony CDX-GT620IP. The brand new Sony CDX-GT620IP comes across as a very stylish iPod- compatible car stereo which has great features, decent sound quality and is very user-friendly.

This new Sony MP3 player has the competitive edge among all the other midrange iPod-compatible car stereos. It has a dedicated browser interface that makes searching digital audio libraries easy. It has a basic two-line LCD. The layout includes six primary control buttons which have been put around the rotary volume and six other buttons towards the end of the display that help to control and view the digital-audio output. It comes with a basic monochrome display which makes it visually very impressive and it also has a three band graphic equalizer to go with it.

The CDX-GT620IP has an in-built iPod connector to transfer all controls of iPod to stereo faceplate. The one touch interface helps in accessing iPod libraries. The rotary dial of this MP3 player has a solid and tactile feel that will enable you to find out any song from the alphabetized entries in a very short time.
