sony-dscx Sony Gulf, which is a subsidiary of the Sony Corp., has recently announced about the expansion of its existing line of Xplod car audio and has launched a couple of digital audio systems, DSX-S200X and DSX-S100, in order to provide users a great portable sound solution.

The DSX-S200X comes with some really enhanced features that will revolutionize the way of listening to music while driving. It offers a seamless storage solution and comes with a host of options to choose from as per the preference of the user.

The Tune Tray, a digital interface from Sony is placed right at the centre of the console of the car and when not in use can be conveniently tucked away, keeping it neat and safe. The front panel turns down with a touch of a button and gives way to the Tune Tray. It can used to conceal devices like WALKMAN, iPod or any USB drive.

The DSX-S200X features a sleek and detachable faceplate that has a prominently visible OEL 4 display and also has an additional USB connection, enabling multi-tasking functionality. This enables the users to play music from another device through the Tune Tray.

The DSX-S100 is not as advanced as the DSX-S200X, but it certainly has some really handy features including the Tune Tray. It also has a very interesting feature of a reminder option that sets up an alert incase the device is left behind. These two devices will definitely add on to Sony’s reputation of being the leaders in music space.

Currently, the Xplod DSX-S100 is available in the UAE, while the DSX-S200X will hit the retailer by September.
