The news of the world’s two most successful car entertainment device producers joining hands created quite a stir last year. The new holding company called the JVC Kenwood Holdings, Inc. formed by the merger between JVC and Kenwood, has now come up with Kenwood Avenue MDV-313. The car multimedia navigation system is the first of its kind to be launched by the new company and promises to be an absolute delight for the lovers of car music across the world.
The amazing navigation system has virtual 3D maps and has all the latest map data stored in it. The best part is that it also has an in-built DVD player apart from a reasonable touchscreen display with LED backlights. The touchscreen is 6.1 inch and offers a great resolution of almost 489 x 234 pixels. The wonderful device is also equipped with a 1 Seg digital TV tuner and an FM/AM tuner. There is a USB port and a SD card slot for your music playbacks. These advanced technologies let you playback your MP3 and WMA straight out from the memory cards and USB flash drives.
The Kenwood AVENUE MDV-313 is also compatible with your iPhone /iPod. However, you can pair it up only with the cables and not with Bluetooth which may seem a little unfair when you consider the price range of the navigation system. The MDV-313 is all set to be launched in the Japanese market this year with a price of some 90,000 Yen which roughly comes around to $1,034.
