Recently, Dashboard Devices revealed that it is about to launch “Carputer” at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in January. Also known, as the ENV (Entertainment and Navigation for Vehicles), this new device includes a two-part system, the ENV-XC, env-100, the ENV-50 and the ENV-50c.
The ENV-XC comprises the CPU, graphics unit and other basic computing functions. While ENV-100 is a double-DIN system, the ENV-50 is a single-DIN system with a motorized screen and the ENV-50c is a single-DIN system with detached screen. Those who like keeping their autos upgraded are awaiting for the launch of the superb “Carputer”.
