4. Consult a manual and follow the instructions to take off the dash (just head unit) for hooking wires to the back.

5. Before installation, detach ground negative cable from the battery and keep in mind to always remove it before getting started.

6. Connect the side with the fuse of the positive power cable to the connector seen on the positive terminal of the battery. Put the o-ring in the bolt on the connector that ties your car to the battery. Then put the fuse in the fuse holder.

7. Take the power cable via firewall of your car to your amplifier. If you have kept your amp at the back, then the wire should preferably run from under the plastic molding which goes along the underside area of your car. Be cautious about the route of the wire because the power cables should never be close to the signal or speaker wires.

8. Now attach the ground cable to a metal bolt or screw accessible on the car’s metal within the 3 feet range of the amplifier. Unbolt it then clean the metal surface and connect the ground wire to it with the support of the O-ring and screw it again.

11. Fix everything to the amp. Try to strip off the end of the wire as much as it is needed so that no bare wire is visible. If you have subs, then connect them to the amp through the 12gauge wire.

12. Join back the negative cable to the battery and test the system.
